Our clubhouse allows Members and their guests to relax after their time on the water whilst the Galley Bistro provides a range of meals and buffets.

Throughout the year we hold many social events and talks. During the summer months these are focused on the water.

During the winter these events are advertised closer to the time but include the Quiz League with cash prizes and the Quiz Shield for the overall winners. Also “Winter Welly Walks” are held monthly at various places in the surrounding area followed by lunch either at a pub or back at the club.

Family Club

We are an enthusiastic family orientated sailing club, run by volunteers.

The club offers a convivial atmosphere for parents and children, yachtsmen, dinghy sailors and all water sports enthusiasts.
Formed in 1970 with the aim of providing a family sailing club on the eastern side of Plymouth.

Whether you are completely new to sailing, looking to get back on the water, improve your skill levels, sail, cruise regularly or just join us for social events you will find a warm, friendly welcome at the Plym Yacht Club.
