Coors Autumn Series 2nd Race

The sound was busy with plenty coming out, tasting the conditions and quickly heading back. A fleet of dinghies were in the sound and another just outside the breakwater and they must have had fun in the conditions. The start line had divers exploring the depths that kindly moved to less populated waters. Considering the forecast a strong fleet of yachts came out and had a good blast round the sound. The South Easterly wind was blowing hard with some strong prolonged gusts. First mark, PYH Buoy was on a potential line for spinnakers but that depended on opening the angle from the start line. In the end only one came out the bag and was quickly blown out deterring the rest of the fleet. With drizzle threatening, the club open and chips on the bar it was a hard call to stay or leave.
