What a Night….!

Club Poster

The club was inundated with cadets and their parents on Friday March 4th for a celebration of the cadet achievements from the 2021 season. During the season the cadets had been working through the various skills levels of the RYA Youth Sailing Programme and over the winter completing the theory elements that they need for completion of their certificates.

Not forgetting Vic Weston who ensures the safety of our cadets as they move between the dinghy park and the slipway.

Paddy O' Connor (Rear Commodore Sail) did a sterling job as our MC for the evening. Due to the Commodore, Alan Nosworthy, testing positive for Covid, Mikey Goble (Pier Master for Plymouth City Council) stepped in to present the Power Boat 2 certificates for the parents who had taken the course at the end of last season, as well as two of the senior cadets.

They were -
Andy Moulding, Erin Doody, Lisa Moulding, Paul Kay, Peter Crudgington
