Great Easter Weekend

It was a busy weekend over Easter for all at the Plym Yacht Club. Good Friday andf the the annual Easter Egg hunt filled the club house. Chris Hallam volunteered to run the bar at lunch time and help out Frank in the evening after the first Friday night Race. The Warley family and Margaret Thomas helped out with the refreshments, washing up and all. All the children who entered the Easter Egg hunt went home with even more chocolate! The raffle, of donated prizes, followed the Easter Bunny theme. Although Gin and wine also featured. With the Langs house busy, all the hot cross buns were sold out early, never before in living memory. However latecomers were provided with a steady stream of pizza, cake and pasties, washed down with never ending Tea and Coffee. All the profits from the days events were donated to charity.

Friday evening the club house was busy again as it was the first race in the Plymouth Yacht Haven, Friday night Series. The race prize giving and after race meals kept the club house team busy beyond expectations.

Sunday got the Start box team up early for the Plymouth Gin series penultimate Sunday race. Then back to the clubhouse for the race prize giving and roast dinners.
