9th Friday Night Race

Busy day to the point of almost missing the start, well a fast walk down the breakwater got us there. What an evening, the wind was a reasonable 14 to 20 Knts from the South West. Banks of cloud rolled over from time to time but NO Rain.

The Squibs and Impala’s were out in force and several new boats as well. As usual the sound was busy. With favourable conditions the fleets had different courses of up to 8 miles, although that’s the straight line and to sail they were considerably longer. All the boats managed a finish so indeed a good night on the water. Strange to say we were back in the club for a superb Cajun chicken, a few wets and a chat.
