Challenge Two Plym Yacht Club Friday Challenge Series

Mike Pearson as start officer, set a similar course to last week in similar wind. Twenty boats were close to the Hoe milling around for their staggered starts. Mike, as you've never seen him before, with magnificent  sideburns and moustache to see round, got the fleet away on their starts into the strong southerly.

Social separation ruled most of the starts.  One pair were close enough to sail tactically before their start, Well done Blackjack and Men Behaving Badly.

The southerly 12-17knt wind with reasonably flat seas saw the majority of the fleet deep into Jennicliffe. Then tacking for Duke rock and on to Queens ground. Two rounds. Ideal sailing.
