Your lockdown project was..

So what have you been doing over the lockdown so far?

You may know Mike Turpitt in association with the Bi-Centennial Rose garden in Oreston Methodist Church. His grandfather started the family association with Oreston. Being involved in the provision of the local ferry services that called at Oreston. You may know Mike, when with other members, he showed more of his skills assisting in the recent refurbishment of Plym Yacht Club’s, Lang’s House.

With time available during lockdown Mike’s idea was to provide entertainment for his Grandchildren when visiting. The idea, build a canoe, a canoe complete with outrigger no less. Tuesday was its inaugural launch and all went well. At least nothing that a bit of fine tuning wouldn't solve.
