PYC and Shekinah Christmas Campaign

Langs House dining room was the setting fo the self-catered party held that raised £475 for Shekinah. This Plymouth based charity, believes that everyone deserves to be given another chance. They provide opportunities for people in recovery from homelessness, drug and alcohol issues, offending behaviours or mental ill health.

PYC Treasurer Jon Keeping said - "This is the 3rd year PYC have hosted this party”. Party goers prepare all the food at home. Bring it to the club and then donate what they feel is the difference between the cost of a decent night out and what they have spent on the meal. The evening included the Commodore’s entertainment package of Hoy and Horse Racing.

The 22 PYC members and friends either go to expensive restaurants or have been more than generous with their donations which this year peaked at £475 including Gift Aid. A huge thanks to everyone who came along.
