Fitting out Or

Are you “Fitting Out”. Crews have been using this time to get ready for years. Or!  Are you ready for the start of the 2019 Annual Quiz Challenge Shield. In 2018 Chris and Issy Hallam together with Kevin and Sharon Aish took first place. Will they triumph this year. That’s down to you.

Teams of four will gather this Tuesday 5th February at the club. Running for six weeks, consistency can win through. It's never too late for more to enter. Don’t expect it to be easy though. Pat has been adept at setting questions that test the best of people’s general knowledge.

Back in 1996 and 1997 the shield was won by teams from the RPCYC. In 1998 a home team took success and PYC has held it since. 2009 saw less space available on the shield so Danny Sargent used the boat/team name Sixpence. Sixpence then triumphed for several years. Since then no one team has dominated. Amigo’s, The Firm, and Magic Roundabout have all taken the prize.
